PEOPLE DEVELOPMENT

RFP

Request for Promotion

It's for those employees who have made significant contributions to their current role and are ready to advance professionally.

Qualifications

The candidates should typically demonstrate a combination of relevant experience, specialized knowledge, and functional capabilities.

This may include:

  • Evaluate the employee's performance in their current role. The employee who’s up for promotion should meet his/her set KRAs, thus, a minimum performance rating of “solid contributor” is expected.
  • Consider the tenure at level. The employee should have a minimum of 1.5 years tenure at current level/role.
  • Assess the employee's skills and competencies relevant to the new role. An employee for promotion is expected to meet the required level competency of the new role. A competency assessment is prerequisite.
  • Review the organization needs of the team. There should be a demand for the new role within the organization. An organizational chart is needed when recommending an employee for promotion.
